Maggi Noodles Are Safe For Humans: Said FDA GOA

Maggi Noodles Are Safe For Humans

As we all know that few days back, few states had decided to ban Maggi noodles due to high Lead and MSG, but it has been conformed by the CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute) that the Maggi noodles are completely safe for human consumption. After testing the five samples at the lab Maggi has been found completely safe for human in compliance with the FSSAI standards. The CFTRI is a FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) approved laboratory . The samples tested there were sent by the GOA FDA (Food and Drug Administration ) at the time when Maggi was banned in June.

The CFARI has not found ant kind of excess Lead or MSG contamination in the samples. All the five samples tested has been reported no be well below the permissible limit and MSG (MonoSodium Glutamate) concentration has not been found in any samples when another tests were performed by CFSAI, said by the GOA FDA.

“CFTRI finding shows that samples are in compliance with the food safety standards as per the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011.” Goa FDA Director Salim A Veljee told. This seems to be a good news for the Maggi lovers 🙂
