No Time For Relations

For our parents, keeping good family ties was a top priority. In their era they could maintain quality family time even after academic and professional excellence and this is what they complain about us. As a matter of fact the concept of joint families existed more during our parent’s time which has dwindled in our times. We are so busy in our own lives that we easily let loose family ties that was built with great love and care by our parents.

We mostly hear that our parents never had a wide scope in the field of education which we enjoy now. The various branches of study that we are exposed to were not a similar situation for our parents. In fact we even have the opportunity to go abroad to build a bright academic or professional future. Our parents received little of these opportunities. But today, we have parents who try to give their best to their only one irrespective of the high cost of education.

More Female Advancements

Our mothers and grandmothers belonged to a conservative society which offered little scope for girls. People of such a society held the view that women should never enjoy equal opportunities to that of men and so got them married at a tender age leaving them to do household chores. But we are lucky enough that are parents do not have such a mindset and encourage us at every stage of life to have equal opportunities to that of men to build a prospective future.

More Female Advancements

Though we mostly oppose the orthodox opinions of our parents, we eventually end up in following their insight to life. With age, our maturity helps us to choose between the acceptable and unacceptable views and opinions of our parents to lead a modernized but meaningful life. Every generation faces a different setup of the society which encompasses modern views along with orthodox views. But it is on every generation to strike a balance between these to make a better place for living in this world.
