Not only in reading comic books but people are flocking to movie theaters in great number to see live activities of superheroes on screen. This popularity has prompted producers to invest money in the small screen for big budget superhero oriented TV shows also. But it is often seen that these superheroes have undergone through subtle to sometimes great changes ( in outward look or in accessories or weapons they carry) when they appear in flesh and blood on the screen. First appeared in More fun comics series of DC comics in 1941 Green Arrow was created by Morton Weisinger and George Papp. The Green Arrow looked like a masked Robin Hood in his initial appearances. Later the creators changed and refined his look that assumed the shape of a more muscular archer like William Tell. The super hit TV series that is made from this character has used the word Arrow in place of Green Arrow. In this TV series the main character is more real life like. He has a hood over his head and wears a mask that covers the eyes. The bow he uses is a sleek looking modern one that is used in big games and tournaments.
The Black Widow
Marvel comics group invented a female superhero in the form of Black Widow as a part of Tales of suspense comic series in 1964 created by Stan Lee. The real name of the character was Natalia Romanova or Natasha Romanoff. But in 1999 a new character was introduced in the form of Yelena Belova as Black Widow as a part of Marvel knights series. But in the first Avengers movie or in one of the sequels of Iron Man comic book lovers found the Natasha chacter as Black Widow. The character is portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. The actress’ physicality perfectly suits the Natasha Romanoff character. Besides, minus a colorful belt in the waist the suit looks more realistic in the screen. The red hair is there too.

Superman is perhaps the most popular of all super heroes who has not gone through much changes because of his trade mark look with red, yellow and blue.
