Rahul Ram, a postgraduate from IIT Kanpur, did not leave his love for music behind as he graduated from college. The founder of Infosys, N.R Narayan Murthy is no doubt called “The Father of the IT Sector”. A post graduate from IIT Kanpur followed his dreams to start his own company which today is among the world’s largest MNC’s. A simple human being, he has also been awarded by the Padma Bhushan for his contribution towards the nation.
Manohar Parrikar passed out from IIT Mumbai as a BTech in metallurgical engineering. The top notch IIT graduate jobs did not lure him and he ventured into politics. He was elected as the Chief Minister of Goa in 2000 and served for 5 years. Today he is the defence minister of India
